Our Story
Lou Lou’s Bistro + Foster’s Bar began the way many good things do — around a table, with good food, good friends, and a couple of dogs never too far from our feet.
Scott has been in kitchens for most of his life. Originally from Richmond, Virginia and a graduate of Ole Miss, he grew up cooking alongside his mother before following his curiosity out West to Jackson Hole, Wyoming. It was there that he began his career in food and beverage, learning the craft from talented chefs and discovering what he loved most: creating food that brings people together.
Wesley’s path has always been rooted in design, hospitality, and creating beautiful spaces where people feel at home. Attributed to her work in interior design, she believes the way a room feels matters just as much as what’s on the table.
When we began dreaming about opening a place of our own, we knew we didn’t want just another restaurant. We wanted a space that felt like a neighborhood gathering place — somewhere you could stop in for a drink upstairs, meet friends for dinner downstairs, celebrate a birthday, or simply enjoy a good meal on a Tuesday night.
And of course, we couldn’t leave out two very important members of the family.
Lou Lou, our spirited French Bulldog, is the inspiration behind the Bistro downstairs — bold, charming, and full of personality. Foster, our laid-back Australian Shepherd mix, lends his easygoing nature to the upstairs bar — a place meant for lingering conversations, good cocktails, and relaxed evenings.
Together, Lou Lou’s Bistro + Foster’s Bar reflects everything we love: good food, welcoming spaces, and a sense of community and our dogs of course.
This restaurant is more than a business to us. It’s the place where we’re building our life together — and we’re so grateful to share it with our friends, neighbors, and family.
So whether you’re here for dinner, drinks, or just passing through, we hope you’ll feel right at home.
